What is Aurora?

Aurora Borealis: Also known as the Northern Lights. Aurora Borealis is a natural light display that occurs in the polar regions when charged particles from the sun interact with the Earth’s magnetic field. The result is a spectacular display of colorful lights in the sky.

Aurora Australis: Also known as the Southern Lights. Aurora Australis is similar to Aurora Borealis but occurs in the southern hemisphere.
